In the recent concerts of Psy for his newest dance hit the Gangnam Style that has climbed hit charts all over the world and has ended up in the Guinness World Record as the most liked video in YouTube, people from all walks of life crowded up in stadiums and danced along to the hip and funky dance song.

South Korean pop sensation Park Jae-Sang or best known as Psy is not new to the music industry. In fact, The Gangnam Style album is already his sixth album. But with Psy’s concerts, it’s with his Gangnam concert tour that has fully occupied every arena or stadium he has visited in and it’s with these concerts that Psy has made everyone in the crown stand up and dance like crazy.

In the latest updates, Psy concert tickets are sold out for stadiums with capacities of 10,000 and 30,000.

Aside from the K-pop star’s dance hit, Psy is praised for his undying charisma and humor and ability to fill in witty spontaneous comments in between unexpected gaps.

Psy started out controversial in 2001 when he released the album Psy from the PSYcho World album which was ordered to be contained for adults only. Despite the fan-base he got from the younger Korean generation, he was thrown criticisms and complaints by various groups. But the K-pop star continued to push his career forward and introduced two more albums.

The Sa 2 and 3 PSY was highly recognized in music awards and was played in local and international radio stations.

It was only in 2006 though that Psy released a follow-up to his first hits. He introduced Sa Jib (Sa House), which also received rave reviews by respected awarding winning bodies in the music industry. Another four years passed and Psy gave out his best as the newest artist of YG Entertainment, one of Korea’s premiere and largest talent agencies and record labels. He did this by introducing another hit album PSY Five in 2010.

Concerts featuring these albums were a hit in Korea and other countries but it’s with the latest album, The Gangnam Style, which has surpassed all of Psy’s ticket sales in the past.

The South Korean star has been expressing in his concerts and interviews how surprised he is with how his newest hit has made even world-known celebrities like Britney Spears dance to the crazy-horse dance.

But Psy has thanked his fans, especially those that has gone out of their way to buy concert tickets just to see him. He promises to give back to the fans the support by giving them a great time in his concerts.
